The Valley of Antón is a town located in the northeastern area of ​​the corregimiento of the same name, in the province of Coclé, Panama. It is a tourist country village of 7,602 inhabitants (2000 Census).

According to geologists, El Valle is a crater or caldera of a volcano, which is why in its surroundings it is limited to the north by Cerro Pajita, Gaital and Cara Coral with heights of 1,000 meters above sea level, to the south of Cerro Cara Iguana and Cerro Guacamaya (Cerro la Huaca) with 800 meters above sea level; to the west India Dormida; and to the east Cerro Tagua with 800 meters above sea level.

Due to its elevation of around 600 meters above sea level it has a cooler climate than in the coastal lands. The area around the city is also known to be one of the habitats of the Panamanian golden frog, endemic species in danger of extinction. Some of the forests around the city are protected areas. The Valley is also known as the place of the Sleeping India, name given to the shape of a mountain, because it presents the shape of the figure of a woman lying on her back and some writers consider it as a sanctuary for meditation.
